Flower Gardens
Natalie and Jules of Space Twins Provisions manage the flower gardens. They run their operation as “Space Lotus Floral Collective”. You can read more about their collaborative here.
There are many perennial flower spaces scattered around the property. We invite guests to explore these areas when visiting the farm.
Vegetable Gardens
Cass and Jules of Space Twins Provisions manage the annual vegetable gardens using no-till practices. This husband and wife duo run their operation together and have since its start in Spring 2020. You can find their ‘out of this world’ produce at the Port Townsend Farmers Market or at the Chimacum Corner Farm Stand.
Food Forest, Mushrooms & Honeybees
We planted over a hundred fruit and nut trees as well as various edible, medicinal and beneficial tree, shrubs, herbs and ground cover starting as early as the winter of 2018. We also strive to enhance the fungal and bacterial health of our soil using various practices such as compost teas, mulching, composting and inoculation as well as beneficial insects and nematodes. Our long term intention is to cultivate a thriving, edible ecosystem that provides food & other resources for ourselves, our guests, the community and the surrounding environment.
Our newly planted food forest fosters a small mushroom mulch patch and honeybee hives.
